Its funny you should say! As I type this I have a dead Western Digital Hard Drive sitting right next to me, from my girlfreind's computer.

The Mechanics have died on this one, my parents (Western Digital) hard drive did the same a year or two ago. The clicking, clunking sound of death coming from the drives tell us that we can prey but not hope for a lot. I also have an external Western Digital one that failed too, thats in my cupboard waiting for God.

Just thought I'd warn you. Not even Western Digital are trust worthy! In fact, I trust my analogue "Keep it in a Shoebox" more than I trust digital right now. It must be me, but everyone around me seems to be loosing data. My sister lost her University work this year which wasn't much fun. Don't be optimistic about any system (or company especially), they will let you down someday soon!
